A new passion.......

Hello

Well I'm so sorry I've not been on for ages but work and life seem to have got in the way. Also my new passion, since the Tim workshop I am now having a go at art journaling, and who would of thought it could be so much fun. Well for a start no measuring and cutting lol .

I had to purchase a journal, stamps, inks, stencils etc, it even gives me chance to use the weird stamps I keep getting hubby to buy me for christmas and birthday but never get round to using.

Here is the first page I did, I don't think they will ever be finished as I keep going back and doodling. It is very relaxing and I can defiantly recommend it. I hope to improve and try different textures as time goes on. Think I've done about 8 pages so far :)

Tim Holtz Adventure...............

Well as a few of you may know Tim was doing a workshop in the UK last week and a few of us lucky people managed to get tickets. One of my best crafting buddies Incy managed to get us a couple of tickets and we decided to have a real adventure and go by train and stay over night at the hotel. Well on Thursday morning we must have seemed like 2 very excited teenagers. I drove to Taunton station then we had to catch 2 trains, changing at Birmingham neither of us had been on a train for years (think the last one i went on was a steam one!) and then a taxi. It was such fun and we got there in one piece with plenty of time. We managed to sit on the same table as some of our other buddies and BJ who Incy met on Blogland. Boy does Tim make you work, and the time goes so quick. We made a gorgeous tag book which once i have printed my photos will make a great keepsake.
Here are a few of the many photos that we took.It was an amazing dream come true to meet Tim and of course Mario. Not forgetting all the crafting ladies.
