Just a quick one this morning as off to work in a mo. Some altered blocks for my Mum I have made a few sets of these for friends and intend to make a set for myself. My Mum's has just got Mum on each side but i did do a themed one for a friend. So she could turn it round for different times of the year.

Well who'd have guessed two days following! lol Well as i'm home today thought i'd put my Mum's birthday card on it's a Tilda easel card. I love making cards for my Mum as i can put loads of bits on and she always loves them. So fingers crossed.

Well i have now finished the wall hanging for a friend to give her daughter. I have tryed to do similar colours but make it look different as she loved her Mum's. Well i've been busy what with work and crafting, have been to Incy's to craft and on sunday a load of us went to Taunton Papershow. Boy did i spend loads not had time to pack it away yet. Got a lovely ink holder for my distresed inks. Son was going to Ikea on Monday so he got me some rails which i am hoping hubby is going to put up tonight for punches and got some baskets and pots to fix on them. So i can be more organised. Off to work tomorrow so guess i'll try and do it Friday. Then off to Bristol to craft with the lovely ladies there. Got some christmas cards to finish this afternoon to take on sunday. Well i've just finished Richard's mum's birthday card and she loves the colour green so i hope she will like this. Am looking forward to the Taunton Sincerely Yours craft show this Sunday in Taunton am going with son's girlfriend and Incy but meeting loads of crafting buddies there. Hi anyone remember me lol well i've been poorly again with a chest infection, and while i was home i

had some fun with crafts while i was trying to sit still and not cough. Made these 2 door hangings for the boys across the road. Made loads of Lilli the valley cards which i'll try and put on next week. Off to make a wedding card for next weekend. Hope you all ok and not too cold at the moment Can't believe how quickly the weather has changed Winter is not my favourite time of the year. Good for crafts am thinking about starting some knitting or cross stitch in the evenings anyone got any ideas?

A Good Day All Round!!

Well i awoke this morning to a text telling me my neice had had a baby girl 7lb 12oz called Grace Louise so can't wait to buy some lovely pink bits and pieces for her.Then i went to 2 car boot sales and got loads of bits to alter, jigsaw puzzles, dominoes, hanging bits, a fab little key cupboard and even found 2 rubber stamps. Just need some ideas now. Just wanted to show my new Steampunk canvas my first attempt at steampunk which is now my flavour of the month and hopefully longer.

Bootsale Bargains Before and After!!

Hi Sorry not been on for a while been a bit poorly but am feeling much better now. Managed some crafting today some blocks for my craftroom. Last evening managed to get hubby to put my boot sale bargains in the craftroom. I paid £2 for the drawer set and 50p for the rail just had to buy some paint. Just finished a new home wall hanging for a friend who's just moved house and i think with christmas just around the corner i'll be making some more of these with various sayings on them. I really enjoyed that project. Well this afternoon i've been glittering some images to make the dreaded christmas cards. Well it's a wet one in Somerset this morning and i was planning to go to the National Gardening Show at the Bath and West so lets hope it starts to clear up. Got two cards today my very first christmas card for 2011 and a white simple anniversary card I am really liking the white on white and know i will be doing some christmas cards like this with white glitter and pearls.Got to have pearls on them lol
Well i ordered the new Kanban Steampunk stamps from C&C yesterday and can't wait to get them and have a play i love all this steampunk stuff.

Well i've been a bit poorly with a bad sinus infection which affected my eye but am much better now. Thought i ought to put on the wine bottle cover including the chocolate bar that i made at kay's the other Sunday and the now finished wall hanging which i started at Kays.

Well another great day was had by all at the Bristol Play day. We made milk cartons and the holder. I chose a baby theme for mine. Found the holder harder than the cartons. Used the Hougie boards so really easy. Loved putting girlie bits on. Anyone want to come along speak to Sue Playingwithpaper on the Do Crafts site. Its a great day out.

Well i had a great bank holiday weekend crafted on my own on Saturday, had freinds over on Sunday to craft and went to a Game Fair yesterday. Back to work this morning and the sun is shining just typical lol

Well its another gorgeous day here in Somerset. I've been busy tidying the garden as i know i won't have time over the weekend. I am working all day tomorrow and on Sunday i will be crafting with some lovely buddies at the Bristol craft day organised by Sueplayingwithpaper.
Thought i'd better put these on here before i give them to Lewis's girlfriend next week. It is my first attempt at a side step card and i know i will be making more and also a wall hanging. I saw one in a local gift shop and thought i could make that as us crafters do Lol

Mum's Birthday Card

Good morning Well i've been so busy lately not had much time for crafting. Managed to finish my Mum's brirthday card which i started at the lovely Kay's the other Sunday. We thought we'd have a go at a criss cross card and found one on a blog that did the back as the front so i tried that. It is very typical of my card's flowers, pearls etc and as it's for my Mum and she appreciates it i usually got to town even more!!

Had a lovely couple of days in the New Forest with hubby. We did a couple of 5 mile walks and as a reward i let him treat me to 2 gorgeous evening meals. We had lovely weather and fantastic scenery.Would recommend it to anyone.

Hi everyone Sorry to all you lovely friend who have left messages and awards for me. It appears i'm not cut out for this blogging lark. I was poorly and then my mojo disappeared so please forgive me. And now i am off to Glastonbury Festival for the weekend to help them celebrate 40 years!!! This will be the second time for us and i'm not sure if i'm feeling excited or worried seeing the crowds already there for the football yesterday. We wish we'd discovered this years ago. We will take some piccies and i will put them on next week. Am looking forward to Pet Shop Boys, Paloma Faith, The Stranglers, Stevie Wonder and loads more i know i will be cream crackered next week. Lol Weather looks good for the whole weekend first on the list after setting the tent is Curved Air never heared of them but Richard wants to see them thats tonight but tomorrow i will be singing away with Rolf Harris. Well i had a fab time yesterday at the Papercraft show at Taunton it was really busy and packed with lovely goodies i could of spent a fortune. I did buy some arty stamps, a Martha Stewart all around the page punch which i spent most of last evening swearing at !!!! a leaf punch and 2 sets of Nesties and of course some gems and pearls. I just can't make a card without them think i maybe addicted. Had lots of giggles with Tanmo and Incy and met Helen another crafter. The next one is in November and i've started saving already. Good afternoon hope your all ok, where is the week going?? On sunday i met up with 3 other do crafters and we covered a vase and made a canvas. These are mine. I loved making the canvas, but not the vase think my heat embossing needs some practice!!!!! Only managed to do 2 sides, i am tempted to sand it down and start again!!!! Well i don't know where the time is going at the moment, i've been busy in the greenhouse, I've got carrotts, beetroot, cauliflower,cabbage,broccoli all coming up along with some flowers yesterday i got over excited as 1 tomato plant came up and 2 corgettes!!!! How sad lol

Went with some crafting buddies to a friends house at Seaton. Had lots of fun gettin inky and messy. We each changed 3 small boxes, made a mini book and a envelope wallet. These are mine. Am off to the hairdressers in a mo, but am hoping to look at the Tim Holtz dies i bought yesterday from Creative Moments. Unfortunatly they are for my birthday in May so i can only look at them. Althought i may just cut the heart one out and have a play!!!! hugs xx

I can't believe that i've not been on here since the 17th March how bad is that!!!!! Well Easter is here and the weather in Somerset this morning is horrible typical bank holiday weather wet and windy!!!! We have closed the shop for the whole of the weekend to have a well earned rest.

As some of you know i design for Creative Moments in Yeovil and this months project is on a budget. We were told to go into the shop and choose £10 worth of products with which to create a minimum of 3 cards or scrapbook pages. I chose mine yesterday and this is what i picked, look at those lush prima flowers. Have some ideas floating around in my head already. Will put the finished creations on my blog and the theme is weddings and love!!!!! So keep watching.

Well we're back and had a fantastic time, we went snow mobiling, dog sledging and slept in the ice hotel. The food was great, the people were lovely and the weather was anything from -25 - -45!!!!!!!

Well just wanted to put yesterday's make and take. We made this beautiful easel box, folding card, and my favourite the swirl card, which i have added one of my homemade flowers to. Also the gifts, i got given a gorgeous tissue box, a lovely owl box with bar of choc in and a beautiful butterfly box with a heart chocolate. Had a brilliant day with crafting buddies. Bought some great new goodies, which i can't wait to arrive so i can have a play.

Well we've got a wedding to go to at the begining of March so thought i ought to get a move on and make a card, rather than leave it til the last minute which is what usually happens. So had a go at something completely diiferent, very simple yet quiet effective.

Well Monday is nearly over i don't know where the days go. Yesterday had a craft day with two Do craft buddies, Incy 68 and Angie Babe. We met at Incy's house and had a great day crafting. It was Angies idea to make this book, and to be honest i thought it a little over ambitions but i am so pleased with the results, and we all said we would definatly make another. Just need to find some fab photo's and add some more embellies.
